Contact Lenses

New Contact Lens Wearers

We fit new patients who have never worn contact lenses before. We provide a detailed exam to evaluate your specific needs as well as your specific contact lens parameters in order to insure proper fit and comfort. We also provide instruction on insertion and removal techniques as well as care for each particular lens type. We want to make your contact lens experience successful.

Current Contact Lens Wearers

We evaluate contact lenses for patients who currently wear lenses and need an adjustment in the lens power or those who may need an updated fitting for lenses that are no longer comfortable.

Please come in for your exam wearing your contact lenses unless advised otherwise.

Lenses

Available lenses include daily wear soft, monthly soft disposable, astigmatic/toric soft, soft bifocal, gas permeable, post-cataract, and cosmetic tinted lenses. Other services such as gas permeable lens polishing are also available.

We highly recommend that our patients who wear contact lenses have them evaluated annually so that we may ensure that they are fitting properly and not causing any adverse effects to the health of their eyes.

We also recommend that all of our patients who wear contact lenses have a current pair of back-up eye glasses in case there is a need for contact lenses to be discontinued for some period of time or if contact lens intolerance develops.
